On May 23, 2019, the inauguration ceremony of "Soochow University Postgraduate Workstation" was held in Lantern Law Firm. Lou Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Suzhou New District and Director of the Bureau of Justice, Zhou Guohua, Party Secretary of Wang Jian Law School of Soochow University, Zhu Chunxia, Executive Director of Soochow University Institute of Intellectual Property, Zhao Yi, Assistant to the President, Hu Yuxin, Director of the Office of Soochow University Institute of Intellectual Property and Xiao Lijuan, Director of the Comprehensive Office, attended the inauguration ceremony of "Soochow University Postgraduate Workstation".

Wu Weihua, Director of our firm, introduced the situation and development history of Lantern. With the establishment of the postgraduate station of Soochow University Law School and the Soochow University-Lantern Forum, it is of great significance for us to build the theoretical highland of various professional sections, which will drive the rapid development of the firm.

Zhou Guohua, Secretary of the Party Committee of Soochow University Wang Jian Law School, introduced the historical changes and development of Soochow University Wang Jian Law School, and gave a detailed introduction to the situation of the doctoral station and the postgraduate specialties. With the establishment of the postgraduate station, the law school will select outstanding students to enter the station, rooted in the front line, combined with the needs and strengths of each workstation, to clarify the entry projects and tasks of postgraduates, so as to better serve the society.

Lou Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee and Director of Justice of Suzhou New District, introduced the situation of the lawyers' team in New District and congratulated the establishment of the postgraduate workstation between SUU and Lantern. The establishment of the postgraduate workstation of SUU, the selection of outstanding students to participate in project research and thematic research at the Lantern firm, encourages students to enhance their ability to deal with practical issues through participation in specific legal service projects and internship exercises, and Lantern provides professional practical training opportunities for outstanding postgraduates, realizing win-win cooperation between the highland of legal theory and outstanding law firms, achieving complementary advantages and energy exchange between the two sides of cooperation. It is believed that through various forms of exchanges and cooperation such as professional guidance and research, the professional service level of Lantern Law Firm will also be greatly improved, thus promoting the improvement of the service standard of the whole lawyer industry in our region.

Zhu Chunxia, Executive Director of the Institute of Intellectual Property of Soochow University, introduced the situation of the Institute of Intellectual Property of Soochow University. Suzhou New District is a concentration of intellectual property services, and the Institute focuses on supporting and nurturing the field of intellectual property for enterprises in order to build a training base and a brand of intellectual property services in Suzhou. It is hoped that with the establishment of the Lantern Graduate Workstation, the interaction and communication with Lantern and the new district's lawyer industry will be further strengthened.

Finally, Secretary Zhou Guohua and Director Wu Weihua unveiled the plaque for the "Postgraduate Workstation".

The establishment of the postgraduate workstation has laid a good foundation for the introduction of talents and the sustainable and healthy development of Lantern Law Firm.
