At the first session of the Suzhou Insolvency Administrators Association Salon held on 29 December 2019, our Deputy Director Chen Lei shared with the audience the "bankruptcy reorganization case of Geoby Electric Vehicle Company".

The case of Geoby was the first bankruptcy reorganization case handled by the Kunshan Court for a foreign-owned enterprise and it is the first successful reorganization case. Mr. Chen Lei led the team to maximize the protection of creditors' legitimate rights and interests by exercising the right of avoidance and applying for substantive consolidation and restructuring in accordance with the law. The innovative voting on the draft reorganization plan through an online platform, as well as the active recruitment of investors, played a significant role in the success of the reorganization case.
