On the morning of September 27, 2017, the Kunshan Municipal People's Court held a press conference on bankruptcy trials to inform the society of the court's bankruptcy and compulsory liquidation trials. The leaders of the Political and Legal Committee of Kunshan City, various government departments and districts and towns, as well as representatives of banks, lawyers, CPA firms and a number of media were invited to attend the meeting. Zhong Lei and partners of the firm, Chen Lei, were invited to attend the conference.

At the conference, the People's Court of Kunshan issued a typical case on the reorganization of Jeoby Electric Vehicle Co.

Firstly, it was the first case in which a foreign-owned enterprise applied for reorganization and it was the first successful reorganization case in the Kunshan Court;

secondly, the case was innovative in terms of voting mechanism and the creditors' meeting adopted the internet voting method.

Thirdly, the administrator actively recruited investors, which played a significant role in the success of the restructuring case.

Fourthly, the court established a mechanism to identify bankruptcy liquidation and reorganization through this case.

At the conference, Mr. Chen Lei, as the representative of the administrator, was also invited to share his experience in bankruptcy restructuring.
